👋 Welcome to the very first post in my new series of tips & advice designed to support your fitness journey. The goal? To cut through the endless Instagram noise, bust some myths, and give you real, usable info you can trust.
🎯 Today’s topic: one of the most common goals when starting out—fat loss.
You’ve probably seen influencers promising “flat stomach workouts” or “exercises to burn fat from your arms/thighs/love handles.” Truth bomb: ❌ it doesn’t work like that.
👉 The reality is simple (but not always easy): fat loss happens when you consistently use more energy than you take in. There’s no “magic exercise” or “one-size-fits-all diet.” Yes, healthy eating helps, and yes, HIIT torches more calories than a walk—but the best exercise is the one you enjoy and can actually stick with.
Here’s the kicker: fat doesn’t burn from a specific spot just because you train it. You can do sit-ups all day, but your body decides where the fat comes off first. What resistance training does do is build muscle, reshape your body, and spread that fat over a larger surface area—making you look leaner and fitter.
💡 The takeaway: stay consistent, move in ways you enjoy, eat smart, and focus on the long game.
And above all—POSITIVITY IS KEY! 🙌
